Frequent Questions
A collection of frequently asked questions for clients.
Starting therapy can bring up a lot of questions — and that’s completely normal. Below are answers to some of the things people often ask. If you’re wondering about something not listed here, feel free to reach out.

What is therapy, and who is it for?
Therapy is a collaborative process where we work together to understand your thoughts, emotions, and behaviors. Through regular sessions, you'll develop coping skills, gain insight, and work toward personal growth and emotional well-being. Anyone can benefit, whether you're navigating anxiety, depression, stress, relationship issues, trauma, a life transition, self-esteem, or another area of personal growth. Couples also seek support to work through struggles in their relationship.
How do I know if I need therapy?
You may benefit from therapy if you feel overwhelmed, stuck, emotionally distressed, or if your concerns are affecting your daily life, relationships, or work. You don't need to be in crisis to seek support.
How do I schedule an appointment?
You can complete the contact form on this website, and I will respond.
How do I prepare for my first appointment?
Prior to our first meeting, you'll complete a questionnaire that helps me understand your goals and some history. The first session will expand on this and begin to build rapport.
