You’re Not Broken — You’re In Transition

It’s easy to feel like something is wrong with you when everything feels harder than it used to. Maybe you’re not sleeping well. You’re more irritable than usual. You cry for no clear reason, or you’ve stopped crying altogether. You’ve lost interest in things you used to love. You feel distant — from your partner, your work, even yourself.

And then the inner narrative kicks in: What’s wrong with me? Why can’t I just handle this?

But what if the answer isn’t that you’re broken? What if you’re simply in transition?

We often move through big emotional shifts without having language for them. Parenthood, grief, a breakup, a move, a health scare, job burnout — even joyful transitions like a new relationship or an exciting promotion can stir up discomfort, doubt, or disorientation.

These seasons of change don’t always come with roadmaps. And when the world keeps turning, we assume we’re supposed to keep up.

Therapy can be a space to pause and catch your breath — to make sense of what’s shifting inside you, and why. It’s not about fixing you. It’s about honoring the fact that you’re evolving.

Because the truth is: you’re not broken. You’re in transition. And that deserves care, too.
